Marissa Rubin, Roberta Price, and JJ Hill have 50 years of combined experience teaching
high school Spanish. Colleagues for many years at New Trier High School in Winnetka,
Illinois, they have taught all years and levels of Spanish and have used many different
teaching methodologies. In recent years, however, they have seen the benefits of
comprehensible input instruction and have experienced first-hand the amazing progress
their students have made in acquiring a second language.
These talented teachers have also developed an inventive and engaging curriculum
for first, second, and third year Spanish classes, focusing on ways to achieve proficiency
and to make language learning come alive in the classroom. They are excited to share
their first novel with you!
